Registration Requirements

Age for admission to kindergarten is five (5) years old by December 1st.
New registrants must present the following:
• State of California Certificate of Immunization available from the Department of Health and/or doctor's office,
• Certificate of birth

Procedure

Step 1:  Pick up and/or complete application on line and return it to the office. Assessment fees may be paid at that time.

Step 2: An assessment will be scheduled with an administrator. Assessment fees due prior to assessment test. Payment of Enrollment fees secure your child's spot at WRA.

a. Kindergarten students will be assessed for developmental placement before being admitted. .
b. New students to WRA will be given an entrance assessment to discern student placement. General achievement should be at or above grade level.  Report Card and Recent Standardized Test Scores will be required if transferring from another elementary school.  New admissions to 2nd-8th grades requires the student spend a visit day in class where assessments will take place.

Step 3:  A personal interview with an administrator will take place during the assessment. A student's admission and placement at WRA will be completed by the administrator based on the following factors:

a. Parental agreement with the school's curriculum, educational style, and affirmation of the parent/school partnership philosophy
b. Grade level readiness
c. Former school records and an acceptable history of conduct
d. Student attitude toward enrollment at WRA
